I must say that after reading this post I am fully impressed. Fully impressed that God is co-laboring with someone who gets it, someone who has decided to pursue Him, not just His to-do list. I know that He absolutely delights in your heart to know Him! And because of your desire for your first love, He will have no trouble flowing through you, releasing the heaven that fills you. I've been leading a church since I was 20, and over the last 9 years I have painfully come back to this place time and time again. It's amazing how the weakness, the exhaustion, the frustration, the discouragement and the loneliness all fade away in His presence! It's so simple! So thank you for writing so openly. It is encouragement I needed to hear. May we all realize that our purpose is His presence! That was all very well said, and so true... I was starting to feel a little like, if i dont do enough here, then it will look like im not doing anything and the people at home will think that its a waste of time! i guess when people go to do ministry alot of the folks at home think that you are going to go in the way of the Crusaders, as in, go make a huge impact and change things totally around...but sometimes, its a gradual thing, and things really only change in the presence of god... i was getting a little concerned that with all the stuff going on here that i will get burned out! but this has encouraged me to just find the peace in gods presence even if the people in the house think that i am sleeping all the time because my door is closed!!<BR/>thankyou for writing and sharing. god bless youMiriamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08147662782083645253noreply@blogger.com
